Hi I got this fitted during the summer last year and since approximately October/November the pressure slowly rises from 1.2 to 1.8 then I drain it back down, have had the filling loop disconnected for a couple of days twice now and no drips so ruling that out, so the only other thing I would think it could be is the heat exchanger but on a new boiler ?. I know that this model gets bad reviews but I got it fitted for free as an energy grant and I have been out of the loop for a few years now, any ideas before I call them up ?
Thanks

If the pressure is 1.2 bar when cold ,and rises to 1.8 when hot ,that's fairly normal as long as it goes no higher.
If when boiler is not being used the pressure rises ,with the filling loop removed ,then the boiler has an internal fault and the mains cold water is finding its way into the central heating circuit .plate hex most likely.

Thanks pressure rises over a few weeks and readings are when cold

Probably a secondary filling loop hidden somewhere from old instal. And it’s passing.

No fitted the last 2 myself and know all the pipe work, only got this one fitted as I had to give up work and my energy company fitted it
