My question is about garage slab prep.
The area is 5.6m x 5.4m.
I’ve been reading that should use hardcore crushed with sand on top, then Dpm and mesh before the pour.
I’ve got no hardcore so could I use Type 1?
Don’t know how deep for the Type 1 though.
Just a thought I could get the hardcore from the same place as I got my Muckaway. I’m guessing that the hardcore would be much cheaper than Type 1.
Is this where most people get their hardcore?
