Texecom Premier Elite 24 Install

I knew that ;) not sure why I missed that on the programming.
ok, so when doing a walk test my door contact and panic alarm work correctly but none of the PIR's register on the keypad although the lights on the PIR do.
All PIR's are set with the 4k7/2k2 jumpers using right tamper and left alarm terminals.
Any ideas, must be something silly?

Didn't want say anything as I may be wrong BUT don't the pirs wire as the outer terminals , not inner two ... I may be wrong as there are some older texecom pirs that wire on the inner two

Just gone back to the PIR wiring instructions, looks like I have wired them up incorrectly. Will change one and test it.

Hey sparkymarka, yes that was exactly the problem. Just confirmed that with one PIR and re-did the walk test, working now.
Will change the rest.
Getting there!

I re-wired all the PIR's an now the walk test works as expected.
Strangely when I try to arm the system it does nothing.
Also I was led to believe that I could connect to the system using wintex via the texecom connect but its not obvious how to do that, is it possible?

Wintex doesn't seem the most intuitive application, I'm completely new to it. The manual doesn't say anything about connecting via smart com.
Firstly, I don't see how wintex know's how to connect to the panel.

ok, so I named the zone and send the details, this seemed to have wiped out the fact I was using a smart com, I re-configured that again and its connecting again. How do I prevent that happening when sending data to the panel?

If you upload settings from panel click the save icon on the top bar on wintex , also if you add fobs into the panel again upload from panel and press save before you do your next download ...

All working a treat now, full set and part set.
Will connect the bell box today.
What do people generally do regarding the users, I'm planning to change the engineer code, do people use the master user as the normal user or should I create a new standard user for us to use? One user for the family is sufficient.

Couple of little issues, I wired the internal speaker to OP1 and programmed it as area alarm but it doesn't seem to work, is that the correct programming?
Also I noticed the Control Panel's green light is flashing, I'm sure on my old panel it was solid green, although everything else is working as it should?
