I’ve got a slim profile TV bracket for my 55” tv. This currently has a regular power cable which sticks out a mile!

I can see that these are available in right angles along with adapters. Can someone please recommend a version which is the slimmest and will mean that I don’t need to use spacers, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Both C13 and C7 power cables are readily available with right angle connectors, but I have never seen a right angle C5 cable. I would suspect your TV uses either a C7 (two pin) or C13 (three pin) connector, both of which can be obtained from a (proper!) computer/electronics shop or on-line, but certainly in the latter case, beware of substandard Chinese imports, and be prepared to change the fuse in the plug for one of the correct value!

Thanks. I’ve got a 3pin end on the TV.
I’ve seen many right angle versions but it’s difficukt to determine how much they protrude. Was wondering if anyone knows of a “slim version”?

I *think* I might have a C13 right-angled cable down in the garage. I'll have a look tomorrow, photograph it and write the dimensions on.

That would be a great help. Are they all the same or would some be more chunkier than others?

There are plenty of 90 degree C5 connectors out there these days. Used to be hard to get C7 in right angle, that fully pretty much all TV stuff is now we all want to wall mount :)

Sorry, no longer have a right-angle C13 cable! Must have given it to someone. However, I would suggest the right angled plug sticks out from the appliance by about 13-15mm and, excluding the cable entry, is about 15-19mm across. HTH

Hi All, can someone please provide a steer on the above? Thanks in advance

Thanks @OwainDIYer. I've placed my order for this.
do I need a 10 amp fuse in the plug for this connector?

As the connector is rated at a max of 10 amps that would do. Though outside the UK it would be used on a 16 amp circuit so probably not a problem with a 13 amp. The TV of course will have it's own internal fuse so don't worry about that.
