Please excuse my ignorance in this aspect but I hope the pros on here can help. I have a scantronic 9100 which I saved from another property, I am trying to set it up from the install manual, well it does ‘seem’ to work somewhat. I am trying it on the bench with zone/tampers linked out and a PIR connected for testing to entry/exit. I can enable it having set up everything goes from day mode to enabled but does not sound bleeping tone to get to exit, but, if I activate the PIR the alarm sounds and can be stopped by entering the access code. Also when testing the display it only shows 18 should it show 88, when I try and enable the zones it never shows 21 just 1. Sorry if this is obscure or the wrong information but I will attempt to answer and any clarification that is is needed, please excuse my fumblings

Volume control pot on the pcb ?
To be honest it’s 25 years past it’s sell by date ....if the display is faulty then bin it

Thanks very much for your prompt reply, firstly I can seem to test it by inputting say 96 etc no problems, it’s just when I try and set a zone to enabled it only shows the first digit and doesn’t show say 21. When I perform a test display everything lights up but the segment only shows 18 when I would of thought it would be 88. Secondly, the alarm on board sounds very loud, so would that not be on the same volume control. As I said all seems to work just the bleeping to get to entry/exit point does not sound, am I not setting something up vorrectly

It doesn't show 21 ?
Only 0/1 for enabled / disabled
