I'm looking for a suitable replacement transformer for an Accenta Gen 4 panel. I was asked by a friend to have a look at it, the old battery had been taken out at some point. With a new battery the panel works but its not getting power from the mains. Made sure that mains voltage is getting to the incoming side of the transformer, checked all the fuses for continuity, the mains fuse was ok but one of the fuses on the boards was blown. I replaced this but still no good. I checked the transformer with a multi meter and there is nothing coming out so I think its the transformer... Maybe when it went it took out the fise on the board.
I realize a replacement panel isn't exactly expensive but that's not an option for them at this time. I'm looking at replacement transformers for this model on eBay, there is 1 listed but the seller cant get it until next week. So Im looking at new ones, which are cheaper anyway. Im not sure which one to order.
I believe the panel requires 17.5v, the nearest I can find is 18v. These come in several variants, 0.6va, 1.8va etc.
