Short cycling GlowWorm Xtramax Diagnosis ?

Hi there

Boiler heats the house pretty warm but is short cycling. For instance put the hot water on, and the boiler comes on but after a 3 or 4 minutes clicks off then clicks on .... is that the thermistor doing the clicking ?

Lots of clicking.

Just noticed that after the hot water is switched off, the boiler switches off ... but the clicking continues for a time, a click every minute or so ... continues for 10 minutes then is silent.

Is it poss to diagnose from this description ?

Is it possible for you to get a video of it doing it? Also there is more than one Type of Xtramax, the Xtramax and the Xtramax HE, can you tell what one you have?

Hi it's not the HE model.

I run the Hot Tap for 15 minutes then shut it off. On the video it should say Hot Tap On at the beginning.
