Hi,

I've just moved into a new house with the above alarm fitted. The keypad is showing "Alert! Enter code" but neither I or the previous occupier know the code for it (they had a dog, but my cat is not nearly as effective as their German shepherd!)

It was fitted by ADT and they want a kidney and the blood of my first born child to come and sort it, which is a bit unreasonable considering they'll probably spend about 27 seconds tops putting a code in.

Is there a way of finding out either a user code or the engineer code, rather than doing a full factory reset and then reprogramming?

Thanks

If it's like other galaxy panels just down power it and take the nvr battery out (small watch battery) in the panel then power it back up. It should default it well it does do with the bigger panels.

That's good to know. Would at least have a clean slate that way - and possibly a manual to go with it too.
