Orisec alarm (badged as CSM) - controlplus app

the app password would be logging into the app I suspect, the authorisation code might be whats missing.

best to talk with your installer first, and then if stuck give us a shout then.

I would phone the installer as you need the app password to connect.

As I am now fitting these upon request I can update the thread.

App password is just a password to stop someone picking up your phone if unlocked and accessing the app, does nothing else.

The panel needs to have logged into the cloud so the serial number is registered.

I really like the Orisec equipment as it’s good to install and easy to use for the customer.
App is really good. Had a faulty panel(touchscreen) and had to replace but their tech service was great.
Their micro door contacts and shocks are way above the Risco and Pyronix equivalents.
Anyone had any experience with Orisec?

Rep keeps pushing to buy ....only thing off putting is it’s order direct only ! Can’t just nip into ADI or Enterprise to pick parts up ...

Well that maybe an issue for those further away.

However how many parts do you need and how last minute do you need to be able to get hold of them?

Had it where some couldn't get Texecom equipment without ordering across several different branches and distributors in recent times. That had delays of a few days getting the parts together???

Just more stock to hold when your already keeping Texecom and pyronix equipment on the shelves, at the end of the day does it offer anything more than the others ...? Got one of the small compact hybrid panels on the desk ....ideal for upgrades if only they had though about a spacer to get those existing cables into the panel !

well I can tell you 11 cables through one entry top right.

odyXBE on the sab terminals.
Orisec bell and touch screen keypad on the network
2 x door contacts
6 x PIR's

wifi module on the back too.

that's a bit tight through one entry point, but could have used another entry point to make it easier.
The mains entry from lower left.

Trying to recreate a job I am quoting on, and yes a wireless panel hard wired, just because of the way the existing system is.
