OK my old Metabo SDS drill has died, i looked up to the see the part broken is about 70quid. And that's without anything else failing. New drill time.

Ive always enjoyed using my drill as a good Chisel for tiles and removing tile adhesive from concrete floors etc. Most of my tools are Makita(all cordless) and Dewalt (wired) and like most of them.

But im at a loss here do i go for something like this 2.6joules of energy for what it's worth

Any other recommendations?

Is it the control module that has faulted? Managed to repair the one on mine

No it's the output shaft which has the pressed bearing and clutch that slides to engage chisel.
