I live in a rental and needed to avoid drilling holes in the wall.
I got brackets and a 2 x 4 timber post.
The Dyson docking station screws into the timber post so there is no drilling or holes in the wall.
The brackets are the key. One bracket sits on the floor while the other bracket is on the ceiling. The bracket on the ceiling is spring loaded so there is enough tension to securely hold a bit of weight.
