Changing Waste to 50mm

Afternoon all,

Just wondering what type of fitting this is? It's 40mm pipe going into it.

Seems to be a bit of play when I wiggle it so thinking it's push fit.

I'm currently doing the bathroom up and wanting to run 50mm waste due to the length of run.

Can't pull it out to check yet as the on-suite is still live, but thought I'd check if anyone knows before I come to do it.

Waste will be push fit into the boss pipe, but I suspect that is a 40mm boss, you wont be able to alter that. Only option would be to cap that and fit a new strap boss, with 50mm adaptor at a suitable point along the soil pipe.

Many thanks for the replies chaps.

Thought I might have to do a strap on boss. Hopefully I can get enough access, otherwise I might have to convert down to 40mm just before the stack and use a flat bottomed reducer.
