hi
In the heavy rain that we had about a month ago, I noticed damp on the brick work as below.

Dried out now, but left a bit of a salt tide mark.

After some advice.

The gutters were replaced in November. I got the guy back, who’s had a look and says end cap was secure and fall is ok, so more likely the roof.

Taken a picture today from the other side.

Wondering the if cracks in the pointing on the edge could be the fault?
Or likely something else to look for?
Thanks

Looks like either a tile/roof felt/verge problem to me. Cracked or missing tile. Rotten felt at the eaves. Broken verge pointing.

Thanks, few options to consider there.
The verge pointing I could probably sort myself, but the other suggestions I’d need a roofer to diagnose/sort for me.
There’s no missing tiles I can see from ground, but a cracked one I’d still need help on.

Also have a look at that horizontal joint on that soffit boxing where it meets the angled fascia on the gable.

Thanks. There’s an extension roof I can get to, to inspect verge/gable at that corner, so can probably be one of the things I could check myself.
