Putting Up A Fitting? Don't Do It Like This!

There are people in this world who now "think" that filming things is as natural as breathing.

Also the clip starts with the madness well advanced - it is quite conceivable that someone saw what was going on and decided to film it. Maybe it was their property and they foresaw the possibility of needing to make a claim for damage...

If it was a setup I hope the guy was an experienced stunt man - that was one hell of a fall...

This would be my best guess as well. Clearly a precarious setup, so the outcome isn't hard to spot as filmworthy.

I once had to use the accident book at work, when i read the previous entry, the bloke said whilst he was putting up a light in a corridor , the light he had just finished putting up fell down and hit him on the head, what a muppet.

I recall a fitting that was being put up on a half-landing on a site about ten years ago, I was coming down the stairs, the fitting that had been fixed up but not wired fell on my head, I half caught it, stood it up against the wall, continued down the stairs, told the first chap I met that I've just been struck by Lighting :p and then set off to find who was responsible for the fitting that was no longer on the ceiling, it didn't take long to track him down, I soon bumped into him hurrying back with some longer screws!
