Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has used luxury vinyl tiles in a bathroom with has a wet room shower?

Not sure how waterproof and leak proof the installations are.

Thanks

''luxury vinyl tiles'' Is that a brand ,otherwise zero info to go on.?
No not a brand, but a type of flooring.

Like you have tiles, engineered wood etc.

Karndean and Amtico are LVT brands.

Just wondering if anyones seen LTV used in a wetroom scenario before.

You can have a tiled floor or vinyl ,but not vinyl tiles, not waterproof.

In my wet room the waste pipework was laid, then insulation fitted, then plywood base, then the electric under floor heating, then shower tray and waterproof glue then tiles and finally grout around tiles, the tile what ever made from needs to be of a thickness to suit the shower tray, and in our case conduct the heat from the electric under floor heating.

So as to if LVT will work depends on if they are thick enough to suit shower tray used, and if the LVT tile can be cut to allow the corners of the tray, each corner tile in my wet room shower tray has a diagonal cut to allow it to slope to centre of tray.
