Hi
Just moved into a new house to find the electric shower is always live there is no pull cord in the bathroom but there is a switch under the stairs by the fuse board that isolates it.
Its all pretty new as the bathroom has been done out recently and looks like 10mm cable
Is this ok / recommended to leave it like that or should we switch it on and off when we shower
Thanks

It's up to you.

There is no need to switch it off every time - nor a requirement to actually to have a switch at all.

Really ? I thought every electric shower had to have a switch to isolate the power supply

The Manufacturers usually recomend double pole isolation, but theres no electrical regulation

No, but you have one anyway.
