if relied on my being good to make it, I would fail every time, no one can make it to the standards required ,which is perfection, its impossible, we are not saved for being good, we are saved by faith in Christ, after that we pursue what is right and good, but salvation is because of Christ ,the forgivness of sins,not good works.
