Issac Newton was a master of science and he believed in God.
Einstein said that the question of whether God existed or not was beyond our ability to comprehend the nature of existence.
My friend is colour blind therefore colour
doesn't exist.
These days you don't only have religious fanatics you have Atheist fanatics who go out of their way to denigrate people who believe.

Education by whom?
Well, I suppose by teachers. Perhaps there could be television programmes explaining the folly of religious practices.

However, there is still the desire to control the masses by christianity (especially in the US and catholicism) such that for example, fundamentalist christian countries will not do it. Therefore denouncing really stupid religions does not happen as that would also mean accepting that their own religion is equally flawed.

For example, would the Pope denounce islam as just silly and wrong when he must maintain his own organisation by prolonging his brand of nonsense?

Upbringing and brainwashing.

Not sure that is true.

Either way, neither means it is true.

My friend is colour blind therefore colour
doesn't exist.
Other people can see colours therefore ...
That is a reverse argument, though; does your friend see and hear monochrome fairies?

The last word in that sentence being the operative one.
People believe in all sorts of things - should they not be disuaded if obviously wrong?

Atheist is a made up word initially introduced by believers as a derogatory term for people who disputed the existence of god.
There is no need for words for people who do not believe in things which do not exist.

Edit - corrected a spelling mistake. Oh the shame.

I am not arrogant enough to believe that I know the answer to reason we exist, so I keep an open mind.
Others should do the same.

Well, I suppose it could but that is not the accepted definition of the word.

Believe it or not, he was once a little boy. If you don't think that possible then how could he believe in god?

The famous WC Fields studied the Bible.
When asked if he studied the Bible because he was religious he replied "No I am just looking for loopholes" .

If, of course there is a reason, doesn't have to be a reason.

Bolox to that...fence sit all you like,,do not preach to others.
we are free to talk, you are free to walk away, but I don't preach to those who don't want to listen or mock.

anyway far right terrorists, like that nut in new Zealand has nothing to do with Christianity. its seems isis thinks the western world is Christian, shows how blind they are, when attacking real people of God, instead of the right wing idiot.

And yet you do, repeatedly preach, 'warn' or threaten on here to a bunch of people who mock you and certainly don't want to hear what you have to say.

Religion should be a private thing. You gain strength or whatever from it then good for you but keep it private.
