I appreciate your sincerity in your Christian faith, I find these threads hard to read because some posters become quite insulting about your faith.
I personally dont agree with the points you make, but I do admire that it is what you believe.
I spent quite a few years involved socially with a baptist family and friends. Like in many walks in life, I found they lived in a bit of a bubble, surrounding themselves with similar believers -which meant their belief system never got challenged. A classic case of confirmation bias............

Just how many nuns do you see walking about the streets of Britain these days? I can't remember the last time I saw one, but it was a long long time ago. They used to be a common, and very welcome sight. Beacons of kindness and civilisation.
Women in burkas are everywhere; my last sighting was a couple of hours ago in Morrisons; a most unpleasant and disturbing sight. When I first saw women in burkas at large on our streets, which was probably in the late-1990s, I naively had a sort of respect for them; thinking that they were like our nuns - devoting their lives to religion and forsaking worldly things. How stupid I was; how little did I know.
The benefits system is the root of all this evil.
