My TomTom appears to have been affected by the GPS Week Rollover Week, I understand that 6 April 2019 was the critical date. I looked on the TomTom website, input the serial number, to be informed I need to upgrade, and for my PC system, had a choice of Windows XP or Vista, or OS Mac. - Windows 10 not included. I thought, has any one else had similar issues? I think it may still work, but without correct time, therefore the distance left to drive and ETA, etc. will not be shown.

My tom tom refused to lock onto a satellite -damn nuisance as it was ok going to a site visit, not coming back.

A mate had same prob -went out and bought a new one!

Re your query: I just chose one of the windows options -vista from memory, all is ok now. What is the matter with tom tom, why dont they offer a windows 7 or 8 or 10 option.

Notch7, thank you for swift reply, most helpful. is it fairly straightforward to update the sat. nav., I have never "logged on" to TomTom site before.

Use 'maps' on your iPhone, it's free and continuing monitoring the traffic.

I got feed up with my TomTom losing reception and I'm not going to buy a new one to boost their profits when my TomTom was only a couple of years old.

Yes it works well.

You have to download and install some software. Then you add your device -you can have more than one.

To update you open the tom tom software programne, select the device, then plug it in (in general not neccessarily in that order). After a min or so it says what updates are available.

If its a new map, that takes about 45mins with fibre broadband

Notch7, thank you for further info..
My broadband is around 10Mb/s, I reckon I may do this at night-time.

Notch7, my TomTom appears to have updated OK, time now correct, will find out later today. Thank-you for your advice.
