Island worktop support

Our kitchen design has an island with one side mostly open to sit at. So the worktop needs to span this area, 600mm deep and about 2m wide; supported by units at the back and each side. We don't really want legs, the floor is LVT so would need to be cut through, with expansion joints.
Across smaller gaps I have used a timber support in the past but the section would be large (I think) in this case: the worktop is Solid Surface (Minerva) and allowing for someone sitting or standing on the worktop (bound to happen one day!) I guess it needs to support up to 200kg without bending significantly.
Any suggestions?

You could use a timber set back a little under front edge to add support or one central leg .
 
I tried a length of 4x2 unsupported over 2m - it bends visibly under my weight. Don't really want anything deeper....
And don't have any little steels to test!
 
a 25mm square steel box tube would do it.
2 minimum but three would be better. Drill the steels right through so that you can fit the steels to the worktop as well as the cupboards

Anyone trying to sit on kitchen worktop needs a slap , very unhygienic .
 
We often do 25mm tubular supports beneath countertops and bar tops in bars and restaurants if that's a help. Set in from the edge and painted out in black they are all but invisible. I intend to use the same technique in my next kitchen at home where I need to span a washer and dryer side by side, but where the top will also need to carry a 300mm pull-out larder cupboard at one end (in a corner)
 
Yeah I read the bit about supports every 600, but that's what I am trying to avoid. No legs if possible!
On the other hand if I can't work anything out, JobAnd Knock: that's a good idea to use legs and set them back a bit... but then if all but invisible we will probably always be knocking our knees...
 
I wasn't talking about legs, I meant a square tubed frame slightly smaller than the worktop width, with enough lateral support to support the top with no verticals- or two /4 legs either hidden inside the end cabinets or right next to them
 
Nope, I didn't. Just a ladder frame with some corner bracing fillets
