The revoke article 50 petition. How’s it getting on?

More people signed the petition than voted for pro Brexit parties at the eu election

That vote in favour of Brexit, hows that working out for ya? :ROFLMAO:

Sorry for me?

My life is great and will be no matter the outcome. The vote was in favour of brexit, no matter what petition or protests are marched it does not beat that vote.

There’s absolutely nothing you can say to dispute that. So please try until you are blue in the face it changes nothing. :ROFLMAO::D

Im pleased Brexit has gone smoothly.

I have to admit, Ive not noticed any changes since we left the EU at 11.00pm on 29th March.

What I am saying has nothing to do with what has happened since the vote. I am saying brexit was voted for simple as that.

If it happens or doesn’t that doesn’t matter, that’s the governments failing.

My reply was regarding the protests and petitions. No one needs to protest or petition in favour of brexit as it has already been voted for.

Actually nothing specific was voted for, that is the problem.

17.4 million different versions of Brexit..........

So it really isnt simple.

Think about it, the ERG voted against the May deal -had they voted for it, Brexit wouldve happened.

So it is Brexiteers that have stopped Brexit.

If it happens or doesn’t that doesn’t matter, that’s the governments failing
Government hasnt failed, it is democracy in action.

In a democracy if nobody can agree an impasse is reached.

You are completely missing my point and I am assuming trying to wind me up. JohnD was making a dig that not many or no meaningful petitions have taken place from people who voted for brexit. They do not need to as that vote has already been and gone and it was won in favour of brexit. Why does someone who voted for brexit and see it pass now need to petition or protest for it? They don’t and shouldn’t.

If the government do not deliver it, that is the failing of them and this country.

Whatever way the vote went in favour for or not in favour for I would be having the same chat with someone. If a vote is passed as it was it has to be delivered or this country has failed and as a citizen I am embarrassed so should you be.

Unfortunately, the leading campaigners, prior to the referendum, told the nation that Brexit meant one thing, and are now insisting that it means something different.

Whether this is because they have changed their minds (is that allowed?) or because they were deceitful, ignorant or reckless is not fully clear. Probably all four.

This is why not even the Brexers can agree among themselves what they want, and they reject all available options, and the Brexers in Parliament have prevented Brexit from occurring.
