worcester 42cdi or alpha flowrate system?

Hello currently getting quotes for a new central heating.
i have had t wo engineers so far look at the house.
one of them is suggesting a worcester 42cdi and the
other an alpha flowsmart boiler. we do not want a megaflow.
which make between the two would be best?
they need to feed two b.athrooms.

There are better boilers on the market, all depends on your budget, lots more to consider than just price

price not first priority.
one company fits worcester and the other alphas.
i just wanted to know which between these two
you would choose.
both installers are recommended to us.
i have a third coming next week.

Alpha rebadge Italian boilers and parts can be extortionate...there is vastly better support out there for Worcester.

all down to each individual installer, personally I would fit Alpha above Worcester any day, we all have our own individual preferences

do you think worcester reputation is exaggerated?
i have had a quick look on google and alpha seems to get many complaints.

Worcester have a great after sales service, so their extended warranties work out for them, I am not a great fan , but as already said, we all have our own personal favorites, you will get loads of votes for intergas on this post

one of the installers is also quoting for an ideal boiler. what is your opinion of ideal?

sorry that I cant give you the answer you seek, keep saying we all have our own preferences, my advice is speak to the proposed installer and ask why they recommend that boiler, lots have to do it in order to keep up loyalty schemes, some just like the same brand, there are lots of reasons, I stick with a manufacturer that helps me out whenever I have a ny problems , that looks after my customer so good all round

No worries I understand.
One if the installers who has quoted so fatpr wants 50%
of the mobey upfront the other does not want anything upfront.
do you think 50% is reasonable or should alarm bells be ringing?

yes it is common to ask for a large upfront payment, I ask for upfront payments as that way I can pass on savings to my customers, it is a myth that if you have accounts with suppliers that you get better prices
