And there I was thinking the good news was that his plane had been turned back because he hadn't given API....

It would be even better news if after telling us how to actually negotiate and get a deal that is good for us and not for the other party, he may also like to let us know how to keep all the illegals out to prevent them draining the country dry, and how to get things done without worrying about keeping all the whining liberals and twitter mob happy and ignoring their oh-so outraged life.

When he's worked that out (or even worked out how he's going to work that out) I'm sure he'll let you know...

Of course it could just be another pack of lies (y)

Have you worked out what sort of Brexit you wanted/want yet?

Like hes doing his trade deals. You fall for his twaddle time and again.

Draining the country dry, lol

Keeping the 'illegals' out when we are an island, is extremely difficult, unless you have the full cooperation of neighboring states, who you can persuade to keep the potential 'illegals' in. I am sure you can appreciate the difficulty in patrolling all potential 'embarking' and 'departing' sites for small inflatable craft.

Whether they are 'draining the country dry' is purely a political, and potentially xenophobic viewpoint, it's certainly arrived at from a prejudiced perspective, as I am sure there is no way to demonstrate that the statement is the tiniest bit accurate. If there are illegals in the UK, the government can only estimate the numbers, but have no way of knowing how accurate, or inaccurate the estimate is. The very fact that they are illegal means that they cannot claim any benefits, etc.
They cannot register for any activity that requires proof of one's ID.

Perhaps you could explain how you think these 'illegals' are 'draining the country dry'?

I'd worked it out in 1986
So what did you work out then?

PS. Before you answer you might like to ponder on the fact that things are a tad different 33 years later ;)

It's difficult when we are so welcoming and a magnet for all and sundry

If we started throwing them a line and towing them straight back across the channel, or picking them up off the beach and doing something similar, then they would be straight on the mobiles (curious that they have mobiles but nothing else, no documents nothing but a charged battery and working SIM) to their friends and instead of saying "Hi, I'm in the hotel bar and have run up a nice little tab" it may be something like "Phew don't bother mate you don't get jack here, try another country".

Thats difficult. Lets see....

Doctors appointments
Waiting times at the hospital - check out who's sitting next to you on your next visit
School places
Class sizes
Pupil attention whilst teachers phone for a translator for one of 30 different languages
Social housing vacancies - ie none
Councils funding costs of migrants from local budgets, reducing amounts available for other budgets
Retirement age extended
Car insurance claims and "uninsured drivers" from certain areas
Costs of all the criminal trials
Costs of the new "slave trade"
Costs of housing and processing the migrant's "asylum" claims

Is that enough for now?
Its like free money for the migrants. Never paid a penny in but right from the off when they land on the beaches its take take take. It's like D-Day all over again but this time its the UK being assaulted. Dependant Day. Operation Overload.

Stop pushing lies.

If they are illegal they wont be going to see the GP.

The NHS cuts has more to do with waiting times. Waiting times were cut under labour but immigration was higher. School budgets have been cut.

If these people were all on benefits then why is unemployment at record lows?

Lie after lie from you.

I assume you realise that is illegal. You can't abandon them at sea, Apart from the fact that is probably contradictory to any code that applies on the high seas, it's probably also contradictory to any human rights legislation. You can't land them on another nation's shores, that would be illegal migrant smuggling.
Would you agree, in honesty, that is not a possible or acceptable solution?

All require documentation to access. For instance, do you have to identify yourself at your doctor's with your name and dob? Or does your doctor not require such information?

These are supposedly effects caused by, in your opinion, the cost of illegal migrants. All of your supposed 'costs' are pure prejudicial opinions. Do you have any proof or data to support your opinion of cause and effect?
I do notice that you have strayed from your bigoted and willful inhuman and illegal treatment of illegals, to encompass all migrants.
Is this indicative of your real position?

Is that enough for now?

I'm sure it is plenty for people to form a view of your prejudice, and willingness to apply illegal and inhuman treatment of migrants.
