Sorry - I will never stop "forensically inspecting" what I, or others, have written if their sloppiness and lack of attention has led to them making false allegations.

In this case, no case was raised. He was suspended pending an investigation, but as nobody made a formal complaint, there was not much that could, or should, be done.
Didn't it come from a Tory newspaper originally? You can't really go kicking people out because a newspaper makes an allegation that is not even backed up by the person the paper says was a victim. That'd be open to massive abuse.
Just another day of dirty politics, stirring up rubbish, making people and parties out to be unethical, sexist, racist, etc.
