The double sockets are already installed. So my options are 3x drivers; or 1x driver and lots of chasing, filling & decorating.

I'm wondering - Would you want to able to turn them on together, or do you prefer to turn them on separately?
A couple of thoughts:
- The connecting cables between runs are very fine wire
- ours go up through the ceiling then back down again

Flat copper tape cable might be the answer, something like this

which is very thin and, with maybe a covering tape be painted over and hidden. I have (not) seen it hidden under wall paper to bring ELV power to items on the wall.
It is expensive to buy but an installer of hearin loops might be able to supply some as off cuts.
