I’ve noticed this on my tiles?
Can someone please advise on what it may be and how it’s caused/should be treated?

Are you near the sea?
I agree - it looks like lichen - no need to treat it

Litchen is a really good indicator of air quality?

Unlike Moss on a roof litchen is totally harmless, Moss on the other hand can and does cause problems?

I live in the south east and no where close to the sea. Should I ignore or do something about this?

I was curious about location as it looks to me like a lichen which seems more prevalent near the sea. I don't think it's anything you need to do anything about.
