As predicted (but poo-pooed by some ignorant users), UK growth has turned negative...

The 'surprise' growth at the beginning of the year indeed turned out to be due to stock piling ahead of 29th March, and of course part of the downturn due to car production shutdowns that were planned for around that date...

UK economy shrinks by four times as much as predicted as Brexit paralysis takes hold

Of course as we now know, many of the car jobs will be gone soon...

And Boris wants to give bigger tax cuts to the rich than EU membership costs!

Brexit...

The gift that just keeps on giving!

There have been far worse economic slowdowns before, its part and parcel of the Capitalist system.
Boom and bust regulate the economy so blaming Brexit is wrong.
Strange how some people blame brexit for everything negative inthe economy, yet when something positive happens brexit doesnt get mentioned.

Well maybe you could enlighten us on anything positive that has arisen from Brexit?

For one thing all the predictions of catastrophe by the so called experts pre referendum haven't materialised have they.
Record numbers in work, wages rising albeit in modest terms, still a lot of problems in the economy but they could be due to austerity of course.
I suppose your next gambit will be "ha ha Brexit hasn't happened yet".

Most of us try to be posative.. But the negativity of the Remoaners have spread further than these shores. Even the Germans are suffering.

One thing could be true what
Tony Blair and his conrads predicted. A world recession caused by the UK leaving the EU.

So, there are no positives that have arisen from brexit, and the negatives are the fault of those who didn't vote for it.
