The BBC needs to explain its way out of this one.

"But if they don't deliver this Brexit that I spent 25 years of my life working for, then I will be forced to don khaki, pick up a rifle and head for the front lines."
Nigel Farage.

Some would say shooting the opposition is poor taste too!

No, they didn't. But that Sun story starts with "BREXIT Party leader Nigel Farage has claimed he would have faced police action if he'd joked about throwing acid at political opponents as the backlash over Jo Brand's comments on a BBC radio show grow."

But he did joke about violence (shooting) against political opponents, so is sounding like a right hypocrite.

He likes to give it, but can't take it.

"Can you imagine the reaction if I had said the same thing as Jo Brand?" - You already did, and somehow managed to get away with it!

Isn't it the RWR on here that are first to bleat about "freedom of speech" when whingeing about their beloved Yax being banned from social media platforms for spreading hatred and inciting violence against Muslims.

Diddums.

I'm talking about the bbc.

The BBC has refused to apologise for broadcasting the outrageous remark, saying the comedy programme 'is not meant to be taken seriously'.

Well, maybe if Farage apologises publicly first, they will do the same?

If Tommy Robinson come out with Why bother with a milkshake when you could get some battery acid?”

Try asking the young Muslim Girl from East London that when right wing nutter chucked Acid at her.

This is not just about Nigel Farage. She gets away with it because she's some say she's a comedian.

Garbage has stoked up hatred and prejudice in this country...

He has used nazi inspired propaganda to achieve his aims, and as has been pointed out he stands accused of inciting violence with his 'head for the front lines' comment!

Thus his faux outrage at Jo Brand's comment should be put into context...

However it would be hypocritical to then just brush off Jo Brand's comment as a joke.

In the moment I thought it funny, but later changed my mind.

It was not funny, and despite the 'qualification remarks' at the time it could be taken seriously by some easily influenced individuals.
So the BBC should look at their response again!

A BBC spokeswoman said: "Heresy is a long-running comedy programme where, as the title implies and as our listeners know, panellists often say things which are deliberately provocative but are not intended to be taken seriously."
.

BBC REFUSES TO APOLOGISE
Fat ugly cow Brand, 61, told Radio 4 show Heresy that yobs who attacked Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage with milkshakes were “pathetic”, adding: “Why bother with a milkshake when you could get some battery acid?”

As opposed to all his other Muslim bashing hate rhetoric, you mean. At least Brand had the nous to say hers on a comedy show intended for inflammatory comedy.
