Scantronic 9651 low battery

Hi all,

Bleeping from keypad showing low batt. I just purchased a new back up battery 12v 7ah & have a user guide, however it would appear the installer code had been changed from the factory default.

Any ideas how I can replace the battery without the installer code or will I need to find the original installers to replace it?

No just open it up , enter your code , replace battery , reset ......But if it's engineer reset on panel tamper your going to have to come back on for further info

Set and unset ok all good apart from the time.

Battery had 2006 date on it!!

First job , Replace battery ...take old one out ....go to screwfix etc ....get replacement .
Do you have engineer code ?

Hi Sparkymarka, I've got a 9651 that is beeping every 15min showing battery low and engineer reset, can you please advise what to do if I have no engineer code.
