Hi all. My alarm system problem started from low battery to lid tamper... All have been fixed thanks to this forum. Thank you very much. But now I am stuck. It's wireless. Front door magnet was unscrewed due to so many failures of battery replacing attempts, trying to figure out.... When screwed back, when it's just placed to the position, the transmitter flashed once or twice. But then stopped. When I try to set the alarm, it says Front Door Z09 OPEN. When opening, there are no flashes on the transmitter. When I tried to open the transmitter, it set the alarm off, so it seems working. Only it doesn't recognize the magnet. What should I do now? Buy a new transmitter and magnet set? I am going on holiday in a few days so need to sort this out pretty quickly. Thanks for your advice in advance. 22

Has the battery been replaced ? Is the magnet in the correct position/ is it a internal type contact or a contact wired to the transmitter ? Post picture of device

Hi. Yes the battery has been replaced since Dec. It flashes so working. The transmitter is wireless 734REUR-01. I have a picture in my phone but can't upload from phone here. Will do when get back home.

To start with in Dec transmitters' batterries were low so I changed all of them. This zone 9 was changed first and no problem. Other zones got once bad battery so I swappes to this one. Then it consistently reported low battery in this zone. I changed batteries 3 times. In between, when I fit zone 9 battery, it said zone 9 tamper. Probably because I once lifted the transmitter cover too hard so the selfadhesive thing was lifted a bit. Since then it lost signal to the magnet. I tried to unscrew the magnet. After mains down, low battery message (although still Dec battery) or tamper is gone, but the magnet is not recognised and it says the door is open. I am not sure if I can replace the transmitter set or have to call an engineer. Many thanks for your advice. 22

Apart from the magnet looking a bit high ....take the magnet off and hold it about 10mm lower at the side of the contact then move it away does the led flash 3-4 times ?

Hi Sparkymarka. When I moved it down nearly 1cm, it did flash 4 times. When moved it away, it flashed 4 times too. Should I move it down 1cm? In my picture, it was where it was and always worked. Many thanks.

Thank you so much. It works. It's so simple for a profession, but was a huge task for me. Many thanks again. 22

But still wonder why it was working for so long in high up position.

Sparkymarka. Sorry to bother you again. I was very stupid. When I realized that other codes work but the keyboard doesn't recognize any of my proximity tags, no beeps at all. I tried to delete the user of the tag to reassign. I thought it was myself, forgot Master user can't be assigned a code. In a rushing moment, I deleted User01, Master user. Can you confirm I can't do anything quickly to get back the Master user (as I will be away from Tuesday), and will have to reset Engineer code and Master code when I get back? At least I still can arm the system with other user codes but none of my friend can help in case there's problems needing reset or somethng else? Many thanks.
