The BBC needs to explain its way out of this one.

Vulgar I think you are saying?

Nope, not really. She made a joke about what lots of people already said about the milkshakes, it was said on here, this forum often enough in the past "ooh, it could lead to acid instead of milkshake" etc..

Context is everything. She's a comedienne, it was said in jest on a comedy show. End of. People really are knobs these days about what they get outraged about. There's so much crud going on in this country, so many things wrong and there's more energy spent these days getting angry about the unimportant things.

Tell them what? Oooh, BBC, people think you're hypocrites? That the nation is outraged by they fact they allowed a joke to go on the radio?

As I said, people want to be outraged by bugger-all these days. It's a new national pastime.

Yes. I apologise for my poor spelling...

Your sounding like your mate Elle
I think you're being rather childish this morning Bodd.

Thomas Alexander Mair threw blades and bullets at Jo Cox

John Murphy (Brexit supporter) attacked Jeremy when he came to visit the mosque earlier this month, by throwing an egg

Farage suggested rioting in the streets and shooting people was the solution to the stalemate. There's a video easy to find online.

Same say Jo Cox with shot - https://twitter.com/DrGabsEvans/status/744121454665601025
"I'm beyond stunned, the same day MP Cox was shot, few hours earlier I got punched for a remain button."

Violence on both sides.

Anyway, a comedian made a joke, has apologised for the joke, and the BBC has edited the joke out. But don't let that stop you from banging on about how violent pro-EU people are.

Comment if you've watched it, the two who were at the trial have some interesting points.

Grins. Sorry, my bad, I forgot that had changed - like actress/actor.

Am I going to have people outraged at me now, or the DIYNOT forum being told off for allowing it to be published? :)

I'm all for jokes that hit the mark. The BBC sack Danny baker for posting a real picture of a monkey. Jo Brand jokes about Acid. What would have happened to Danny Baker if he posted the same message about Acid in the relation to the royals..

Sorry for being childish.

Well, this is what I mean by context, this is important.
Danny baker wasn't on a comedy show, nor does he make his living by being a comedian. Jo Brand is and does.

I don't think Baker should've been sacked, but he was sacked for being an unthinking idiot.

A PR stunt? Sorry, but this is sickening. How can they claim it did not happen? Are they that deluded? "There was no proof there was a murder".
Oh, they didn't take a DNA test, so cannot prove it was the same guy. Yeah, police always do DNA test after catching a murderer red handed.

"During his first court appearance Mair gave his name as ‘death to traitors, freedom for Britain’ "

"Witnesses says he shouted ‘this is for Britain”, “keep Britain independent” and “Britain first” as he stabbed Mrs Cox"

And he did it in public, where everybody could see him. There are photos on the internet.

These people in the video, and the publisher of this website, are total scum.

He was but so was she. They are both to the left of politics and have comfy sofas with the BBC. They all think they can make their own rules, if this was a comedian that slants to the right, then this would be looked at very diffrent.

I know plenty of people who are not plumbers, yet they are still allowed to chuck a bathroom in.

And an 'IF'.
None of these things are important because they're not relevant. We could go on and on with an 'IF' game, but it's pointless.

Context, it's everything. And I have to ask, why are you so keen to virtue signal here? Are there not enough real problems out there to concern yourself about?
