If may only could see it....... she was holding a Royal Flush !

I voted leave.

I am a Eurosceptic, always have been.

However, the strength of the UK on the world stage depends very much on the trade alliances it has.

Being a key member of the EU increases the UKs strength by a huge amount.

And dont forget, 40 plus years of trading means the UK has got itself a pretty decent deal with the EU.

If the UK leaves without a deal, it will be looking at the world with no trade deals. That means the UK will be desperate to have deals whefever it can.

If you go to a van dealer and say to them: Ive gotta have a van today' -how much discount will you get. They wil, say 'weve just had a van in, its not valeted, and its covered in dents......but if you want it today'

So In hindsight, I shouldve voted to stay in and as a Eurosceptic, and looked for the UK to work on reforming the EU from the inside.

We go to this van dealer and say. We are a wealthy nation
of 70 odd million. We like your vans and want to buy some. No fancy stuff! Do you want a deal or not?

Do you think you know a country that is WTO only with no deal?

They would say: "oh yes, we recognise you, didnt you work for the huge company that we used to give a big trade discount to. Unfortunately now you have gone off on your own, you will have to pay retail price. Oh and you will have to pay the VAT upfront. We might be able to offer a better deal, but that will have to be negotiated, it could be a few years"

Thats a good idea.

I believe we currently gave a trade deal with the Caribbean. Why dont you buy a fleet of vans from that well known Jamaican manufacturer. :ROFLMAO:

Of course we currently have more than 750 trade deals in place -buy a van where you like (y)

Utter tosh! Trade discount? They're a business and NEED to sell what they produce. If they were "giving us a discount", who were they charging full price?
What happens to them when we say "Keep yer effing vans then?"

The common people of the EU will suffer. Don't you think?

Hardly. We're just one country v's a trading bloc of 27. If they need our markets, they will get the deals they need. If they can do more business inside the EU they will, and UK businesses go under.
The common people in the EU are not going to suffer, and the EU is not afraid of a no deal Brexit.

….when they already have fantastic trade agreements with the biggest trading bloc in the world.

So your going to force champagne and cheese down people throats who can't afford or don't like.
Make them drive cars they don't want.

Give it two weeks and the French workers will be doing our job for us. Rioting all week instead of just Saturday

So you just had an influx of immigration to your country that need work. And your going to turn your nose up at selling your products to a potential 60 million people.

Rock on..

So, if you were needing to buy a large van, right now, what would you go for? Petrol, electric, hybrid or diesel?
