Chain gangs in UK

Statistically it used to be better for a 17yo to drive without insurance and risk the fine rather than pay for it.

Get the fchuck outa here! When was this - 1912? An IN10 is a very, very expensive 5 year long mistake for a young driver.

roughly 3-400k prosecutions per year, for the last 15 years. roughly 1m uninsured vehicles. Annual insurance for a 17yo about £2-3k vs a £300 fine.

Can anyone explain why we have prisons full of able young and older lads esp in lower risk and open prisons sitting there all day when they could be on litter duty local Labour work etc.. why the fck isn't there anything here aimed at utilising them?!
I used to work with a PO who was also a plumber on his days off, he took work parties out from the local prison, doing stuff like gardening at local schools, don't know if this still happens though

Chain gangs?

Yeah why dont we reintroduce penal servitude and go back to the mid 1900's

While we are at it, lets make homosexuality illegal and take the vote off women.
