I never said they didn't and I thanked them for their help, so please don't twist things and try to make it look like it's me who is being unreasonable. Sarcasm is not polite and if you can't see the sarcasm (wich was very clear) then what can I say to you? Joke?

I don't think your last comment to Andy was particularly polite or sarcasm-free. He was pointing out that a pull cord for a fan only is likely to be forgotten about or ignored.

Obviously my reply wasn't polite, but it was a RESPONSE to the impolite reply I received. I can think of better ways to point out something that than trying to ridicule the other person or take the p**s out of their question. I thanked him for his help and that was that as far as I was concerned. Can't be bothered with this thread any more.
