Hello guys.

This toilet is blocked between the WC pan and the soil stack. A very difficult one. Managed to clear others before, but this one seems to need a Jack Hammer.

Caustic soda and sulphuric acid (at different times) has not worked. If water is left at a high level, it will eventually seep out and drop to what is the normal level.

Flexible drain unblocker with the spring and rod has not worked.

Unless the experts here can advise otherwise, it will be a job for the professionals.

Many thanks for any ideas.

How have you identified the location of the blockage?

Have you checked the nearest inspection chambers?

Have you tried plunging it? Use a heavy headed mop with a plastic bag over it. Careful if you've used sulphuric acid, should never be used down waste pipes.

Have you access to the stack/drain outside?

I know where the blockage is. It is as shown in the attachment in my post.

Plunging did not work. Did not try mop/plastic bag. I will try that next.

Just been reading about toilet augers.
