5 Core 24V cable?

I'm looking to extend my power to a Lifx Z Strip: https://uk.lifx.com/products/lifx-z, however I want this to run in the wall, and also be compatible with an standard 12v RGBW strip in the future.

I ordered from 5 core 0.3mm2 cable, however I've just noticed on the Lifx Power Supply that it outputs 24v, 1.25A 30W.
I called the supplier of the cable and their response was "You can do any voltage on it..."

Any ideas if the cable I have will be sufficient, or do I need something else?

I would NOT put 500 volts on it, not that the LED strip would like it.

Oh interesting. They provided me with the cable, and some other LEDs with a requirement of 3amp. Don't suppose you know what I need for 3amp? Been trying to figure it out but cant find the calcs

For RGBW LED installs I always use this. https://www.pfjones.co.uk/thin-wall-5-core-auto-cable-30m-100m-tw05-01.html. They do a 4 core, TW04, that's great for RGB LEDs too.

Thanks. I'll have to look for some by the meter stuff, I only need about 12m of it.

You can use what you have as the power supply only outputs 1.25 amps.
