Those power supplies usually have overload protection whereby they switch off after a few minutes on overload. You have put 50w lamps in a fitting designed for 20 w lamps. 2 1/2 times overload, no wonder the supply is cutting out. (not faulty just doing what it is designed to do). Get the correct 20w lamps and all will be well.

If the fittings designed for 4 x 20 w then as they dont make a 80 watt transformer then its likely a 105 w electronic transformer and will also have a minimum load of about 20 or 30 watts,, as said some have a self resetting cut out, so ensure you get the load between 30w and 100w (1 lamp) and you may be ok,
The fitting which you propose to use uses G10 (240 V) lamps. (I.e. There is no 12 V "transformer".)
I suggest that you use G10 LEDs with this - and save on running costs.
