Did he deactivate his account to put it out of range of checking? I don't know how these things work, but the article's wording raised this possibility, even if not explicitly saying so.

I have a lot of time for Nicky Campbell, and his journalistic abilities. He apologised on R5L today, for not doing his research well enough on the imam.
Sounds like it could have well been that the imam didn't want his electronic trail examining.

So it's ok for him to demand us accept him and all his non traditional ways. Or as soon as we question him the Islamaphobia card is waved.
And this person is working at a girls school.
What other opinions does he have oh yes "alone with a man takes two to tango don't be surprised if he ends up taking advantage.."

Not at the moment and not ever again. Many high profile people have lost their jobs over less. He should be sacked and renounced as a fcked up weirdo by the Islamic community. (ok maybe not in that many words) instead they've said they've given him some time away to reflect, or something pathetic.
He should be forced to apologise to the Islamic community and Boris for his hypocrisy and damage he's caused the Islamic community for this is exactly what people relate to when figures like him appear declaring Islamophobia or discrimination, lets not forget it's also a very powerful tool in this country to ratchet opinion and power to your own minority liking when things aren't going your way.
