what should I expect to pay hourly for domestic electrician?

In my area West Sussex the going rate is around £250 or more per day.
 
That's a company not a "domestic" electrician
That’s what they charge a domestic customer.
Ealing is a different animal to Byfleet, or wherever you are from. You can’t just park outside the address where you are working. Just travelling there is a pain.
£15 ph? Not worth getting out of bed for.

As a decorator working in Ealing I charge new customers £25 per hour.

I know electricians that charge £50+ per hour but the effective rate when, for example, doing a rewire drops given that they are paying a minion peanuts to do the messy work.
