Smart Alarm

Hello

I've already got a hardwired scantronic alarm system but it's not smart in the sense app controllable, also I would like to set the alarm whilst we are indoors but I have no contacts on the window entry points so it's not really possible.

Any suggestions as to what I can do? Re-running new cables to the windows is not possible now as the plastering has already been done.

Is there a smart alarm maybe I could use just for window / door indoors?

well the first question is which panel do you actually have, ie model.

How many hardwired zones do you have?

It's a scantronic 9751 with a separate expander and speech dialer.
9 sensors
3 panic alarms
1 internal sounder
1 external sounder
1 door contact

Currently the alarm it not active due to to refurbishment but the same one will be going back with new sensors and a new keypad as they got damaged during the gut out.

Add radio expander and extra shock / contacts ....to be honest now that I’ve read the point about new keypad you would be better changing the panel to a hybrid with app control

So you are suggesting that I go all new with a new hybrid system which will be part hardwired and part radio?
