Boiler is a Worcester Greenstar Heatslave II External 12/18 ErP+

Brand new boiler out the box, ready for commissioning but as soon as there’s power, the boiler doesn’t give any digits or letters. Not had this problem with previous models.

Boiler led light on the screen flashes green and off every second, and there’s nothing in the fault finding that gives a solution to this, so I presume it’s a PCB error, even tho it’s brand new.

Thanks

Hi Josh,

Are you oftec registered? Have you contacted Worcester for support, and I’ve just skimmed the manual, states preheat?

Computer says no. Contact them that make it. Get Grant next time, much better.

Are you sure it's green and not blue? If blue then it just needs the resetting. Go,to section 8.9 for the explanation.

Found Grant good to deal with overall and their boilers reliable. Their flue system options are excellent.
Their warranty conditions changed in January - a Grant which springs a leak now needs to be uninstalled and returned to the factory for testing, leaving customers without heating and potentially without hot water

Absolutely no way would I ever deal with any company with those T&Cs, once done an investigation on behalf of HSE on a Vaillant boiler, when I contacted vaillant they asked if we could return the boiler to them so they could investigate it at their end, HSE agreed , boiler was packed up and sent, funny enough when we asked for a report they said that they never received the boiler
