Hi all,
Not sure we're I should of asked this but hoping this is correct place. I've got a ceiling light fitting that has 8 light bulbs and glass shades. We have broken one of the shades and I'm searching for replacements. There's 8 shades all together so I don't mind replacing all 8 if I can't find the same. The shades are very small and the hole that they push on is only about 12-15mm.
Would anyone know of an online shop anywhere that do such replacements.

Any help much appreciated.

Make? Model?

If you can’t find any, an alternative option might be to alter it so there are only 7 lamps.

It's from focus who closed down in 2011.
If there's anywhere to get alternative glass shades I'm happy to get 8 new ones. It's just the wife loves the light.

Looking at the exposed lightbulb, it appears to be a Halogen capsule, possibly rather like https://www.screwfix.com/p/diall-g9-capsule-halogen-light-bulb-219lm-19w-240v-4-pack/344fh but there are 12volt ones that need a transformer https://www.screwfix.com/p/diall-g4-capsule-halogen-light-bulb-470lm-25w-12v-4-pack/8648k

These are a bit of an evolutionary dead end.

Modern LEDs can give a bright while light without the complexity of a transformer, they run cooler, cost less to run, cost less to buy, and last much longer. You can even get mini-golfball lamps if you want, around the size of those shades.

Time to persuade your missis to move into the 21st century.

I totally agree with bringing the wife up into the 21 century. lol

Its not the bulb that i need to replace but the glass shade that goes over it.

Looking to replace 1 but if not replace all 8.

cheers

I meant, your existing light fitting uses Halogens, which have now been superceded by LEDs, so perhaps you can find a new light fitting that used LEDs instead.

There is possibly a slim chance you could buy a new light fitting like your old one, throw it away and keep the shades, but halogen fittings are obsolescent now.

Whats the internal diameter of the shades mouth, you may be able to get a straight shade that fits, they tend to be called "Finger Shades", if the lamps are G9 rather than G4 you may need to make sure there suitable for the temperature if your running more than say a 30w lamp

Is there a Transformer within the main base
