South Yorkshire - Fitter Recommendation

I hope requests for recommendations are allowed.

Could anyone recommend a company to supply and fit PVC windows, wooden window boards, composite doors, cladding (above a dormer window), soffits, fascias and guttering in the South Yorkshire area?

I’ve tried looking through google reviews etc for FENSA registered installers with insurance backed guarantees, but its really hard to gauge the quality of the work from opinions of buyers that likely know as much as I do. I’d really like to hear the opinions of some people from this forum.

Does it make sense for all of these items to come from the same company? Or would a roofing company be a safer bet for the soffits, fascias and guttering for example?

From what I understand after searching through the forum, Rehau, Kommerling and Eurocell are decent manufacturers of frames / furniture so would be looking for a company that would supply these or something of a similar quality.

I really appreciate any advice.

Can't help with a fitter in Yorkshire but getting fascias/soffits etc from same supplier is certainly possible, and if they do you a deal on it all then certainly a good idea. All uPVC profiles are a much of a muchness these days, the thing you have to look at is the quality of the window once it is made and the quality of fitting. Hardware is generally not made by the same company as the uPVC profile so this can vary from supplier to supplier , even if they use the same uPVC profile. Any Fensa or Certass registered company should be providing you with their own guarantee and also an insurance backed guarantee, as this is part of the rules of the schemes. As goes recommendations....if you are on Facebook, sign up to one of the local groups ( most areas have a moan &groan or banter type group ) and ask there, you may well be able to go have s look at the installation too
