if it has three terminals it will work , you just need to work out which coloured wire goes to which terminal, if it is an approved part it will come with a wiring diagram

Checked with the seller the part does indicate which wire goes where will also replace the diaphragm as the boiler is getting on a bit

make sure that you cover the PCB housing with cling film or a poly bag and a towel, as any water leaking when changing the diaphragm will go straight in there and fry the PCB
Sure will do, is there likely to be a lot of water? Or a trickle?

isolate the cold inlet and open the lowest hot tap and you should be fine, there will always be some that comes out every system is different, nothing to worry about just protect the electronics they dont like water
All sorted! The button on the microswitch looks like it had failed.
Replaced the diverter valve as good practice, although the original one looked fine.

Found this, i didnt remove the complete assembly fitted the new diaphragm in situ. So it looks like i need to remove the complete unit, fit the smal O ring at the rear of the brass body and refit?

Removed the complete brass diverter assembly, fitted the small O ring at the back of the rear spindle, although there wasn't one fiited, all seems well now...
