Never seen fluorescent lamps that short for HF ballast only use, have seem them in flame proof fittings on a gas terminal, but they were around 4 foot long. Are you sure it is fluorescent?

I looked at the advert linked to, not sure, as a LED lamp is never 85% more efficient than a fluorescent. OK maybe 90% less energy compared to incandescent lamps, but putting a LED on a HF ballast if not designed for that use could do a lot of damage, strip tube lights, is not the same as HF fluorescent.

They aren’t fluorescent

You just connect them directly to the mains.

As said , used on shaver lights in bathrooms

As above its a 221mm Tungsten lamp, they can be Opal glass like yours or clear glass, they are a mains voltage lamp 240volt using a S15 lampholder each end
Google 221mm picture light bulb

Thanks to AndyPRK, that was it - I presumed it was fluorescent due to appearance but obviously not!

60W are 284mm.

Well that's what I always thought, a quick google says I've been getting it wrong for years.
I should have some of these 'in stock' as we still have them in our kitchen.
