Is this stuff any good?

Purchased some yestesday. Stired it up.

Tried to paint an old shed, and it's barely doing anything.

I would be better painting s it on the wood.

Is this stuff now too environmently friendly now?

I purchased 3x 5 litres  (it was on offer)

In my experience, took 3 coats! One coat is twaddle. You could take it back for a refund and try something different?

The one I wanted cuprunol (same at the old stuff I have been using (but ran out)) wasn't in stock in the correct colour

Having looked an hour ago, I has dried slightly better than I was expecting. But as you say will require more coats.
One coat of the old looked great.

I purchased 2 cans in another colour for the fence, I could take that back I guess

Me and my wife went through 13 tubs when we re-posted and refitted the fencing.

Ronseal 1 coat Havest Gold.

It could have done with two coats really but if you've ever brush painted over 70 meters of feather edge fence front and back you'd probably get as fed up as we did!.

Still looks good a year later.

Well I painted the small Side of the shed today. Took me about 5 times at long as using good old stuff.
