Hi folks,

My new 8x5m steel shed has just been erected, it's been a long time coming.
The slab went down in mid-March, and I have been waiting for the shed people since then.

Well they finally came and the shed went up - now I want to paint the floor with Floor Paint, before moving anything in there. I might possibly use this stuff, but I am not sure yet - open to recommendations on the paint.

My main question is - is it too soon? as the slab is only three months, or am I safe now?
How should I prepare the slab - should I bond/seal it, what should I use?

Thanks,

Ray K

I recommend 2k epoxy paint, with properly etched and primed floor. Check out regal paint or similar. They regularly do price discounts, so sign up for the news letter then buy when the next discount comes through. Don't paint below 15C

Don't buy the ronseal paint, it'll be water based.

I'm sure the 2k is best, but Coo-var do a single pack garage floor paint which is fine, about £50 a tin.
I think sbr bond will work as a sealer/primer?
