Can anyone tell me if Euro Modules and Faceplates are manufacturer specific i.e only MK modules fit in an MK Faceplate or are they interchangeable with other manufacturers?
I would like to swap out the current white MK Euro faceplates with screwless versions to match the MK Brushed stainless Aspect sockets fitted with the new kitchen.
The BG screwless faceplates from Toolstation look ideal replacements.
I could change the modules but don't really want the faf of rewiring the data and telephone modules
Many thanks

Thanks for heads up but modules are in 40mm deep plasterboard boxes so should have plenty of space :D
Sometimes flat plate dont always fit flat onto plasterboard boxes due to the lip on them , so bear that in mind too.

The other consideration would be textures and colours of the materials used, whether metal or plastic, ie mods and plates from different mfrs may clash.

It's my experience too that they are interchangeable between manufacturers. At my last job, I did a few network installs where I'd buy faceplates to match the other accessories, and use our normal supply of modules - gave an "network doesn't look like an afterthought" install while still using modules I'm familiar with (and universally cheaper than the ones sold by the accessory manufacturers).
