I have a leisure EB10 CRX cooker and needed to replace the roller catch so I took off the door together with the hinges after watching a youtube video and replaced the catch.
I now know why the guy said just loosen the hinges and lever off the door.
It appears that there are plates behind the cooker wall that the hinges screw in to but they have moved so i can't screw the hinges back on and can't see an obvious way to access these plates.
Can somebody advise me please how to sort this problem

Thank You

midas, good evening.

Does the plate with the threaded screw holes move within the door frame? sideways, or back to front?

Can I suggest you lay the cooker on its back, use a small magnet to "position" the screw holes as required then carefully attach the door hinge screws?

Thanks for the reply.
After some thought I realised the simplest solution was just to replace the screws with self tapping ones.

No ! No ! No !

It's a tapping plate and the screws may be taptight or machine screws ......use self tapping screws and you'll soon be in trouble.

You may need to take the side panel off to manoeuvre the plate back in to position, to take the side off you may need to take the hotplate and fascia off, using the original screws and holes is the best way forward .....any other method may result in a scrapped cooker !
